There’s no better way to celebrate Halloween than dressing up in costumes and going trick-or-treating. And, there’s no better place to go trick-or-treating than Plaza de la Tenencia de Alcaldía.
On Halloween night, kids and their families can take to the main strip of Plaza de la Tenencia de Alcaldía in Las Lagunas for all sorts of festive, spooky fun including trick-or-treating, live music, bouncy castles, children’s activities, and even divination workshops.
So, if you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Halloween with your whole family, this is the event for you. This event starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 10, so there’s plenty of time for you and your family to enjoy everything the Mijas Fiesta de Halloween has to offer.
If Halloween parties are more your speed, then you’re in luck. Dozens of bars and restaurants across Mijas Costa host annual Halloween parties, so you’re sure to find the perfect event for you.
Most local bars and restaurants in the areas offer their own unique spin on celebrating the day. Depending on where you go you can expect to find costume parties, karaoke, and plenty of festive drink and meal specials. The scariest part is trying to decide!
The Passage of Terror
Finally, no Halloween is complete without a few genuine scares.
In the Passage of Terror, you’ll have to escape a group of evil cultists and survive monsters that are ready to drag you down to their sinister domains.
The Passage of Terror will be in the Plaza de la Tenencia de Alcaldia in Las Lagunas de Mijas.
The event takes about five minutes to get through, features six scary scenarios, and fits groups of 10 at a time. So, you won’t have to worry about facing the horrible creatures that hide within alone.
This event runs from 7-11 p.m. Halloween night and is open to anyone over the age of 12. But be warned! This event can be extremely scary, and may not be appropriate for young children or the faint of heart!
